| Trusted Borders signs contract with UK Home Office for e-Borders project |
Trusted Borders, a consortium of companies led by Raytheon Systems Limited of the UK and including QinetiQ, has signed a contract with the Home Office to develop and implement the nation's 'e-Borders' project, an advanced border control and security programme. QinetiQ is to provide security accreditation and human factors services.

| FAA evaluates Tarsier for runway debris detection |
Tarsier gives airport operators the ability to continuously inspect runway surfaces in the heaviest ground traffic, day or night with no disruption to aircraft movements. It automatically detects FOD, birds and wildlife, metal, glass and plastic, even cellophane and card. The system is currently being tested and evaluated at TF Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island, US, on behalf of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
