| 3D Camera to help cars park themselves |
QinetiQ is working with several of the automotive sectors leading suppliers to integrate its newly developed 3-D cameras into future vehicle designs. The novel cameras meet a number of spatial sensing requirements - which could ultimately lead to all cars being able to self-park.

| Plumbing in Government with Maps on Taps |
A major e-government initiative is set to provide all Government departments with access to high quality, up-to-date digital mapping information and decision support tools. This has led to the award of a contract to a consortium led by QinetiQ.
The "Maps on Tap" service will enhance area-based decision making across Government, by offering desktop access to a vast amount of digital geographic information and analytical tools from one place for the first time.
