Welcome to Stay Informed. This month, with Farnborough International approaching, the focus of this edition is Aerospace. The UK's aerospace industry is the second largest in the world and it brings significant investment, employment and revenue into the country. In addition, aerospace nurtures and promotes technologies which feed into other industries, for example motor racing. QinetiQ is also active in the US, the largest aerospace market in the world, where it has acquired four companies with aerospace interests in the past two years. These companies carry out a number of tasks for the DoD. QinetiQ is proud of its role in aerospace as the partner of choice for world-leading aerospace companies, the UK Ministry of Defence, the US Department of Defense and other key customers, working together to solve some of the great aerospace challenges of the 21st Century.
