Next generation telecoms and electronics systems must deliver
ever-increasing performance. This means innovation amongst
higher data rates, better spectrum efficiency and, inevitably,
more algorithmic complexity. And of course, this must all
be delivered at lower cost, reduced time-to-market and be
compatible with the latest evolving standards.
The news this month from QinetiQ's Electronics business
is that QinetiQ has formed a commercial alliance with TEK
Microsystems to jointly develop and distribute innovative
embedded systems solutions.
Another initiative is QinetiQ's lightweight and portable
eye tracking system now being manufactured and commercially
made available by Applied Science Laboratories (ASL), a
pioneer in the examination of human eye movements and pupil
dynamics.
