Information
assurance strategy |
QinetiQ has sponsored Henley Management College to produce
a second piece of independent research entitled, "Information
Assurance - Strategic alignment and competitive advantage".
The research raises many interesting issues including
the fact that corporate information assurance strategies
are more often being driven by external factors rather
than an organisation's own business objectives.

Mission
Systems Trainer Lite (MST-Lite) |
Maintaining operational effectiveness is a vitally important
activity for Royal Navy aircrew, who are often thousands
of miles away from their main operating base. Now, scientists
at QinetiQ have developed a portable mission systems trainer
for use in-theatre or en-route, called MST-Lite. Providing
highly effective, yet relatively low cost training, MST-Lite
is a desktop simulator which trains mission system operators
under realistic Air Surveillance and Control and tactical
data link communications scenarios.
